style with simple symmetry, blocky simplicity, clear lines of
classical proportions to windows and doors, and block shapes. Also
exemplified by shingle roofs, and dormer windows. A common colour was
Brunswick green. The style was a carryover into Victorian times of
the late 18th century English architecture.
