USE
OF A UNIT
The use of a unit (ACT) or strata title lot (NSW) is essentially the same as for freehold
title land. An owner can transfer, lease, mortgage, or deal with the
lot as freely as the freehold owner but the lot's use is subject to
the following restrictions:

it cannot interfere with support and shelter

it cannot cause a nuisance or hazard

it cannot unreasonably interfere with another owner’s use
of the common property.
