PRINCIPAL
An
agent may act for a principal who is unknown or undisclosed to the
third party. If the contract depends on the identity of the parties
the third party on becoming aware of the principal can sue either the
agent or the principal under the contract. Where an agent has
secured a contract for the undisclosed principal but has acted
outside the scope of the authority the agent becomes bound under
contract to the third party and not the principal
