RURAL
LAND – AGENT
This
is also defined in section 1 as follows:
rural
land means land that is used or apparently intended to be used for
gain or profit for grazing of livestock, dairying, poultry farming,
viticulture, orcharding, beekeeping, horticulture, the growing of
crops of any kind, vegetable growing or any other purpose declared by
the regulations to be a rural purpose.
Note
that the definition is very broad with ..intended to be used..
and ..the growing of crops of any kind, .. This means that
almost all rural properties with some sort of agricultural land use
or intended to be so used is rural land. If a hobby farmer sells
his/her livestock on a regular basis then that use should come under
the clause ..used for gain or profit... even though the
enterprise is being run at a loss.
