NOISE IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS


Neighbourhood noise (generated by activities such as parties, maintenance work, hobbies, etc) is the most common cause of noise related complaints. Environmental regulations aim to protect people from undue noise while enabling them to carry out business and social activities. This legislation does not apply to noise generated by aircraft, cars on public roads, animals and people (eg rowdy behaviour).
