INDIGENOUS LAND USE AGREEMENT (ILUA)

Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs) are becoming more common place, and can apply to any area or class of activity. ILUAs can impact upon property management as to when they are registered, as it is provided for in the Native Title Act that they are binding on the parties to the Agreement. The NNTT has a register of ILUAs throughout Australia.
