IDENTIFICATION
SURVEY
An
identification survey shows the position of improvements on the
subject land (block) in relation to the boundaries. It is carried out
by a surveyor when the building is at ground level. A plan
identification survey certificate is usually required by the
mortgagee when money is borrowed or the local authority.
