GROSS
AREA (GA)
The
gross area is the external dimensions of a building plus (according
to convention) the following:
- 0.3 for carparks, ramps etc
- 0.31 for plant rooms
- 0.32 for areas of habitable
occupation
- 0.33for service areas
- 0.34 for areas of projecting
columns, horizontal slabs projecting beyond the
enclosing walls.
- 0.35 for porches,
verandahs and balconies.
