agreement
The
result of proper offer and acceptance. The offeror offers to do or to
forbear from doing a specified act and in return the promisee makes
a counter promise, or action. The first and necessary stage for a
contract is total agreement on all the important terms and
conditions. The minimum evidence of an agreement for the sale of land
is an open contract.
